Who we are. DiscoverMarco is a local web-design and digital-marketing business operated by Jocelyn Carina Weimer, a sole proprietor, serving Marco Island and Collier County, Florida.

What we collect. When you meet us in person or contact us, we may collect your name, your business name, your business address, your email address, and your mobile phone number. If you sign our SMS consent form we also record the date you signed, the phone number you wrote, and the version of the consent language you were shown. If you use discovermarco.com we collect ordinary web-server and analytics data such as pages viewed.

Why we collect it. To build and maintain your business profile page, to respond to you, to send you the quotes and updates you asked for, to bill you if you become a client, and to keep the proof of consent that federal and Florida law require us to retain.

Mobile numbers and text messaging.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your mobile phone number, or your consent to receive text messages, with any third party for that party’s own marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share your SMS opt-in with affiliates or lead generators. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We share your number only with the messaging providers that deliver our messages on our behalf (for example Twilio), and only so that the message you asked for can reach you. Text-message originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties other than those providers.

How long we keep it. We keep signed consent forms and consent records for at least five years after the last message we send to that number, so we can prove your consent if a carrier or a regulator asks. If you opt out, we keep a record of the opt-out so that we do not message you again.

Your choices. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Email carina@discovermarco.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. Asking us to delete your consent record will end the text program for you.

Children. Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes. We will post any changes on this page with a new “last updated” date.
